1. Dowerin GWN7 Machinery Field Days:
This event is one of the largest agricultural and regional events in Western Australia. Hosted in August, the event allows farmers, business owners, and locals to showcase their products, machinery and equipment. Over 600 exhibitors come together at one place to showcase their products.
2. Toodyay International Food Festival:
Established in 2006, Toodyay International Food Festival celebrates and highlights the diverse and authentic cuisine and beverages of this majestic region. It is a perfect holiday event for foodies, vintners, and anyone looking to learn more about exceptional local delicacies and beverages.
3. York Motorcycle Festival:
This event celebrates the culture and freedom of motorcycles. The festival features up to 8,000 motorcycles being displayed on the historic main road of York town. The festival attracts motorcyclists from across Australia and is held in April.
4. Avon Descent:
This world-renowned white-water kayaking race sees participants from all around the world journey across the Avon River. The Avon Descent runs for over 134 kilometres across Western Australia's scenic Wheatbelt region. The event usually takes place in August.

7. Merredin Annual Agricultural Show:

8. Northam's Annual Avon Valley Beef Roundup:
Beef producers from throughout the Wheatbelt region come together to showcase their livestock, as well as participate in a wide range of cattle-handling competitions. The event takes place towards the end of the year when the weather conditions are optimal.
9. Red Dirt Muster:
The Red Dirt Muster is a one-day race held in the Wheatbelt region. Off-road vehicles from across the state, from four-wheelers to truck enthusiasts, participate in extreme 4x4 competitions. The Red Dirt Muster is held annually in October.
10. Perth Royal Show:
Although Perth is not located in the Wheatbelt, it is worth mentioning that the Perth Royal Show is a well-known annual event that takes place in September every year. The event offers entertainment and education for the entire family, and features everything from agricultural shows to carnival rides.
